Workshop on Professional Communication Skills for Pharmacists

The Workshop on Professional Communication Skills for Pharmacists was organized by Guru Nanak College of Pharmaceutical Sciences to enhance students’ interpersonal and professional communication abilities in healthcare settings. The workshop focused on developing essential skills such as patient counseling, active listening, verbal and non-verbal communication, presentation skills, documentation practices, and professional etiquette. Experienced trainers and faculty members shared practical strategies to improve clarity, empathy, and confidence while interacting with patients, healthcare professionals, and regulatory authorities. Interactive role-plays, group discussions, and real-life scenario-based activities strengthened participants’ communication competence and professional demeanor. The program successfully empowered pharmacy students to communicate effectively, build trust with patients, and maintain professionalism in diverse clinical and pharmaceutical environments.
